What you share

The application asks for your name, email address, city, a link you choose to share, and a short personal introduction. These fields are required to submit an application. Signing up for future event emails is optional and is not a condition of applying. Please avoid including sensitive personal information.

What we use it for

We use your introduction to review your application, understand your interests and contact you about the outcome or next steps. This review supports our legitimate interest in organising a considered, welcoming community. You may object to this use by contacting us.

If you opt in to event emails, we use your email address to share upcoming Exedora gatherings on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing does not affect how information was used before you withdrew.

Who can see it

Applications are received through Netlify Forms and notification emails. Access is limited to the organiser, authorised account users and the service providers used to operate the website and email. Your responses are not published on this website or shared with other guests. We do not sell applicant information.

We may view the profile or project you voluntarily link to. This website does not automatically scrape profiles or make admission decisions. Please share only a link you are comfortable having the organiser view.

Where it is processed

Netlify hosts the website and processes form submissions. The notification email is handled by the organiser’s email provider. These services may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. You can request more information about the service providers and applicable transfer safeguards from the organiser.

How long it is kept

We retain application information while it is needed to review your introduction and manage the community relationship you have requested. Information that is no longer needed for those purposes is deleted. You can request deletion at any time, including when you no longer wish to join or receive invitations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise these rights, contact the email address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Cookies and website use

This version of the website does not add advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party font services. The hosting provider may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website. Application drafts are not saved in your browser’s local storage.
